Description
Le 104Paris has teamed up with the Taiwan Creative Content Agency, the Kaohsiung Film Archive and the French Office in Taipei, to continue "Villa Formose Immersive" in 2024: a bilateral immersive creation residency program (XR) between France and Taiwan. This program is designed to strengthen creative synergies between France and Taiwan in the field of immersive realities.
Calls for projects are open to French creators (or those residing in France - residence permit or visa valid until March 2025) wishing to travel to Taiwan in autumn 2024. All immersive formats are eligible: live-action 360° film, 6DOF real-time 3D animation, AR/VR video game, hybrid show using an XR device, fulldome experience, 360° film, mapping, etc. Applicants must have at least one previous professional experience in the XR/immersive field.

Description
Kunst Raum Mitte is offering a residency for researchers, artists, curators, authors and cultural professionals for a two-month period between June and August 2024. We are looking for archival practices that deal with the temporalities, relationships and contradictions that characterize the galerie weisser elefant archive. The call is aimed at individuals and groups with a focus on archival practices. Kunst Raum Mitte is the reorganization of galerie weisser elefant, which was founded in East Berlin in 1987. With Natalie Keppler and Agnieszka Roguski, the municipal exhibition venue will have a new artistic director in 2024. As a prelude to the program, a two-month research residency will be announced, in which artists and cultural practitioners can explore the historical material of galerie weisser elefant for the first time.
